New Delhi: The Government has recently launched the Vidya Samiksha Kendra and initiated the construction of 141 PM Shri Schools and the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Vidhya Samiksha Kendra is a technology-driven and modern model that aims to improve the learning outcomes of 23.50 lakh school students in Uttarakhand. In addition to performance and attendance data, the DIKSHA Portal and the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) will provide comprehensive information on the state’s school education. This initiative will simplify access to professional and engaging content for all stakeholders involved in the education system.
While addressing the audience, Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, emphasized that NEP 2020 serves as a foundational document for cultivating a knowledge-based economy in the 21st century. Additionally, he highlighted the exemplary model of the 141 PM Shri Schools in the State, which strive for excellence in education. The Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential School will specifically cater to underprivileged children.
He also commended the Chief Minister and Education Minister of the State for implementing the Research Scholarship in accordance with the National Research Foundation, wherein state teachers receive grants for their research projects.
The scholarships presented today to the students reaffirm the state’s commitment to strengthening their education system, he mentioned. He extended his congratulations to the State Education Department for their cooperation in implementing NEP2020 and turning Centre’s vision into reality.
