Delhi government has implemented a bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and assigning new charges to several IAS officers across key departments in the national capital.
Senior IAS officer Dilraj Kaur (2000 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department. She will also hold additional charges of Social Welfare and SC/ST/OBC Welfare departments.
Neeraj Semwal, who currently serves as the Divisional Commissioner, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary (Land and Building).
In the transport sector, Transport Commissioner Niharika Rai has been assigned the additional charge of Chairperson, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). Meanwhile, Prince Dhawan (2012 batch) has been appointed as the Managing Director of DTC and will also serve as the Special Commissioner in the Transport Department.
In other postings, Rashmi Singh has been designated as Secretary, Women and Child Development (WCD), and Krishan Kumar, formerly Special Secretary, PWD, will now head the Disaster Management Authority as its CEO.
Ravi Dhawan (2011 batch), who was holding dual charges of Special Secretary (Power) and Member Administration in the Delhi Jal Board, will now retain only the latter role. The Power Department charge will now be handled by Ravi Dadhich.
In the revenue administration, Soumya Saurabh has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (North West), replacing Ankita Anand, who has been moved to the WCD department as Special Secretary.
Further, Mekala Chaitanya Prasad (2015 batch), serving as Deputy Commissioner (South), has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner (South West). Lakshay Singhal will replace her as Deputy Commissioner (South).
Lastly, Dr. Anil Agarwal (2015 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Director of the Forensic Science Laboratory.
