Nationwide Access to 2,000 Digital Services

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has achieved a major milestone by integrating e-Government services on DigiLocker and e-District platforms across all 36 States and Union Territories. This enables citizens to seamlessly access nearly 2,000 digital services—including certificates, welfare schemes, utility payments and other essential facilities—anytime and anywhere in the country.

Convenience, Efficiency, and Transparency

The broad integration accelerates the vision of the Digital India programme, offering paperless, mobile governance and directly advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). DigiLocker, recognized as a robust component of India’s digital infrastructure, has successfully solved challenges of interoperability, data security, and multi-stakeholder coordination. Citizens benefit from increased efficiency, inclusivity, and reliability through trusted digital access.

State-Wise Service Spectrum

  • Maharashtra leads with 254 services.
  • Delhi offers 123, Karnataka 113, Assam 102, Uttar Pradesh 86.
  • Kerala and Jammu & Kashmir each have 77 services, Andhra Pradesh 76, Gujarat 64.
  • Tamil Nadu and Goa offer 63 each, Haryana 60, Himachal Pradesh 58.
  • In total, 1,938 services are currently available nationwide.

Vision for Expansion and Inclusivity

NeGD plans to further broaden the e-Government service portfolio using AI-driven technologies, alongside structured training and workshops to enhance awareness and last-mile delivery. These ongoing innovations support the government’s commitment to empowering citizens and transforming governance in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
