IPS officers Manoj Shashidhar and Sampat Meena appointed as Special Directors in CBI

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the elevation of IPS officers Manoj Shashidhar and Sampat Meena as Special Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Both officers, from the 1994 batch, were serving as Additional Directors.

Shashidhar, of the Gujarat cadre, will serve in the post until his superannuation on November 30, 2030, while Meena, of the Jharkhand cadre, will continue till March 31, 2031, or until further orders. The appointments restore the posts of Special Directors which were earlier operated in the rank of Additional Director.
