Technology-led oncology platform, Karkinos Healthcare on Sunday said that Mayo Clinic has made an investment to buy a minority stake in the company. The healthcare firm will be utilizing the funds for the development of innovative healthcare solutions.

US-based Maya Clinic will nominate a member on the Board of Karkinos as part of the agreement.
Karkinos Healthcare is leading the Distributed Cancer Care Network Model in India, providing treatment to cancer patients. Backed by a robust technology platform, the firm is led by a blend of globally acclaimed medical professionals and technologists. It aims to make cancer care accessible to patients by working with various healthcare institutions and experts.
Karkinos Healthcare is operational in Kothamangalam, Chottanikkara, Thodupuzha, and Munnar locations across Eranakulam and Idukki districts in Kerala. A Cancer Centre in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal will be soon set up by Karkinos in collaboration with the Government of Manipur.
