New Delhi: Strengthening the language capabilities in technology education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, launched AI for India 2.0. This is a free online training program on Artificial Intelligence, which aims to break down the language barriers in technology education.
The program is a joint initiative of MSDE Skill India and GUVI, an online tech learning platform. It has been accredited by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and IIT Madras, ensuring that the youth are equipped with cutting-edge skills.
GUVI, in collaboration with NCVET and IIT Madras, curated this program in 9 Indian languages, making it accessible to individuals from various regions, including rural areas.
The Union Minister emphasized that technology should not be confined to a specific language and encouraged the development of technology courses in multiple Indian languages. He commended GUVI for their efforts in providing easy access to AI learning across the nation, aiming to empower every individual with digital skills.
