India’s largest public sector lender has shared tips to ensure the safety of the customers’ ATM on its official Twitter handle.
The 5 tips shared by State Bank of India to ensure ATM safety are:
- Beware of your surroundings while performing transactions through ATM Machines
- Check that your card is placed correctly and there is nothing suspicious in or about the machine
- Enter your PIN by covering the keyboard with your hand, so that no one can see it
- Change your PIN Periodically
- Regularly monitor your account statement
