Administrative Reshuffle in West Bengal: 4 IAS Officers Transferred

In a recent administrative reshuffle in West Bengal, 4 IAS officers have been transferred to key positions within the state.

Moumita Godara Basu, a 2007 batch IAS officer who was serving as the Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Jhargram. She takes over from IAS officer Sunil Agarwala.

K Radhika Aiyar, a 2011 batch officer who was previously posted as the Project Director of KEIIP, will now serve as the District Magistrate of Purba Bardhaman. She replaces IAS officer Bidhan Chandra Ray in this role.

Shashank Sethi, a 2010 batch IAS officer who held the position of Managing Director of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Limited, has been posted as the District Magistrate of Birbhum. He takes over from IAS Purnendu Kumar Maji.

Joyoshi Das Gupta, also a 2010 batch officer, was serving as the Senior Special Secretary in the Tribal Development Department. She has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Purba Medinipur, replacing IAS officer Tanvir Afzal.
