Ira Singhal Appointed Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Education; Ramesh Verma Named Director, Youth Affairs

September 24 witnessed a flurry of high-level bureaucratic moves, with the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approving strategic postings. Ira Singhal, a 2015-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, has been named Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, with central deputation for four years.

Ramesh Verma, 2009-batch AGMUT cadre, was appointed Director, Department of Youth Affairs, on a similar tenure. In addition, the Haryana government ordered the transfer and new postings for IAS and HCS officers, including deputing a new administrative secretary for the Jhajjar district. These reshuffles intend to energize top management and enhance governance in crucial sectors like education and youth affairs.
