In a major administrative move, the Rajasthan government has transferred several IAS and IPS officers across the state. The reshuffle includes key appointments at both the district and divisional levels, aimed at streamlining governance and improving public service delivery.
Among the IAS officers, several from the 2022 and 2023 batches have been given field postings as Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs). IAS Yasharth Shekhar (2022 batch) has been posted as SDO and SDM of Barmer, while Sonika Kumari (2022 batch) has been appointed as the CEO of Udaipur Smart City Limited. Rahul Srivastava (2023 batch) has been assigned the role of SDO and SDM in Bali (Pali district).
Other key IAS transfers include Bharat Jai Prakash Meena as SDO and SDM of Suratgarh (Sriganganagar), Avula Saikrishna in Girwa (Udaipur), Rajat Yadav in Kishangarh (Ajmer), Mahima Kasna in Bikaner (North), and Sonu Kumari in Pali. Akshat Kumar Singh will serve in Bhilwara, Nayan Gautam in Sri Ganganagar, Madhav Bhardwaj in Alwar, and Garima Narula in Ajmer as SDO and SDM.
In the police department, notable reshuffles have been made at the level of Commissioners and Inspectors General. IPS officer Omprakash has been appointed as Police Commissioner of Jodhpur, moving from his previous post as IG, Bikaner. Rahul Prakash (2006 batch), earlier serving as IG, Bharatpur, has now been posted as IG, Jaipur Range. Ravi Dutt Gaur will now serve as IG, Police Headquarters, Jaipur, while Gaurav Srivastava (2004 batch) has taken charge as IG, Udaipur Range. Sharat Kaviraj has been appointed as IG, Special Operations Group (SOG), and Rajesh Meena has been transferred to Jodhpur as IG from his earlier role in Udaipur Range.
At the SP level, the government has appointed new Superintendents of Police in various districts. IPS Rashi Dogra Duddi has been made SP, Jaipur Rural, while Mamta Gupta takes over as SP, Rajsamand. Puja Awana has been appointed SP, Pali; Narayan Togas, SP, Jodhpur Rural; and Tejaswani Gautam, SP, Kota City. Sudhir Chaudhary will now serve as SP, Alwar, and Mridula Kachhawa as SP, Nagaur.
Additionally, Richa Tomar has been posted as SP, Didwana-Kuchaman; Dr. Amrita Duhan in Sriganganagar; Praveen Nayak Nunawat in Sikar; Abhishek Shivhare in Jaisalmer; Abhishek Andasu in Baran; and Manish Kumar in Dungarpur.
