Narendra Modi-led union government has made a major bureaucratic reshuffle. Senior IAS officer Gyanesh Kumar has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation. He was currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

Devendra Kumar Singh has been transferred as Secretary-General, National Human Rights Commission.
Pradip Kumar Tripathi will take a charge as a Secretary, (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
S Radha Chauhan, a 1988-batch IAS officer of UP-cadre has been posted as DoPT Secretary of the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Neel Kamal Darbari has been appointed as chairperson, of the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention in the rank and pay of Secretary to the government of India. He was serving as Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare,
Sanjay Kumar, a 1990-batch IAS officer is appointed as Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs.
S K G Rahate has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice.
