IICA, Lean Campus Startups (Trust), and WEICI India have joined forces to empower corporate professionals and women entrepreneurs through diverse training programs. This collaboration aims to provide valuable skills and knowledge to enhance the capabilities of individuals in the corporate sector and women-led startups.
The partnership aims to enhance expertise in establishing and managing a diverse workforce, focusing on knowledge, skills, and competencies. IICA, in collaboration with LCS, will organize programs tailored for women entrepreneurs and students.
The signatories to the MoU were Dr. Lata Suresh, representing IICA, and Umesh Rathod, representing Lean Campus Startups (Founder).
Speaking on this partnership, Dr. Lata Suresh emphasised that the collaboration aims to empower entrepreneurs, both in the corporate sector and specifically women entrepreneurs.
‘This empowerment would include providing them with resources, training, mentorship, and other support mechanisms. The objective is to enhance various aspects of entrepreneurship, including knowledge about industry trends, skills relevant to effective business management, and competencies required for success in a dynamic business environment,’ she added.
Umesh Rathod said, ‘The collaboration seeks to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and strategies needed to establish and manage a workforce that is diverse in terms of gender, ethnicity, skills, and perspectives.’
He further added, ‘In partnership with IICA, Lean Campus Startups & WEICI India will orchestrate programmes specifically tailored for women entrepreneurs and students. These programmes could include workshops, training sessions, networking events, and mentorship opportunities aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and leadership among women.’
