Government assures LS on future of Indian students evacuated from Ukraine – Operation Ganga

The government on Monday has assured the Lok Sabha that it will effective measures to ensure that students evacuated from Ukraine under Operation Ganga can complete their studies.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education also said, “Operation Ganga, carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to evacuate Indian students from Ukraine, is proof of the “collective wisdom of 130 crore Indians”.

Congress member Gaurav Gogoi had raised concerns for the students who have returned to India from Ukraine without completing their studies. In response to his query, Pradhan said,  “When we have brought them, you remain assured that government will ponder over making arrangements, whatsoever is required, to enable them to become doctors in future,” the minister said in response.
