Bihar Government Announces Key IAS Transfers in Routine Administrative Reshuffle

The General Administration Department of Bihar has issued transfer orders for IAS officers as part of a routine administrative reshuffle. According to an official notification, IAS Nirmal Kumar, a 2011-batch officer who was serving as the Secretary of the Bihar State University Service Commission, has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Sasaram Municipal Corporation, Rohtas. He will hold this position until further orders.

Meanwhile, IAS Sahila, a 2018-batch officer, has been transferred from her role as Joint Secretary in the Disaster Management Department, Patna. She has now been posted as the Director of Primary Education, Bihar, Patna.

In addition to these key IAS transfers, the department has reassigned several officers from the Bihar Administrative Service. Among them, the Additional Collector of Joint Secretary Lining has been transferred, along with other officials, including a Star Deputy Secretary and multiple officers of the basic category. The newly assigned postings will remain in effect until further notice.
