The Government of Kerala has announced a significant reshuffle of senior IAS officers, assigning new roles and responsibilities to streamline administrative functions and foster growth across key departments.
In a move aimed at enhancing governance efficiency, IAS Sharmila Mary Joseph, who currently serves as the Principal Secretary of Local Self-Government, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of overseeing the Women and Child Development Department.
Similarly, IAS Mohammed Hanish A.P.M., presently the Principal Secretary of Industries, will now also handle the Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
IAS K. Vasuki, serving as the Secretary of Labour and Skills, has been given the additional responsibility of overseeing the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Museum (Zoo) departments.
IAS T.V. Anupama, Special Secretary, Local Self-Government, has been relieved of her additional charge in the Revenue (Devaswom) Department.
IAS Mir Mohammed Ali, Director of Industries, he has been appointed as the Special Secretary, Ports, and relieved from his additional charge in the Agriculture Department.
IAS Abdul Nasar B, transferred as Special Secretary, Fisheries, with an additional charge of Minority Welfare.
IAS D. Sajith Babu, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, will now also serve as the Special Secretary, Revenue (Devaswom), while being relieved of his previous responsibilities in Animal Husbandry.
IAS P.B. Nooh, Special Secretary of Transport, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation. Aswathy Srinivas has been named its Managing Director.
IAS Gopalakrishnan K has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Vytilla Mobility Hub Society and the Kerala State Construction Corporation.
IAS Meera K., Sub-Collector of Fort Kochi, will now also serve as the District Development Commissioner, Ernakulam.
IAS Safna Nazarudeen, currently serving as the Labour Commissioner, she will now take on the additional responsibility of Director, Fisheries Department.
