2.5 lakh accounts connected with the AA system

According to the data released by Sahmati, account owners have linked around 248,000 accounts to the Account Aggregator (AA) system across financial information providers and about 230,000 consent requests have been made across financial information users. Sahmati is a not-for-profit Company and an Industry Alliance for the Account Aggregator ecosystem. as per the reports, the AA system has witnessed a week-on-week growth of 10-15 percent.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Axis Bank are the private lenders that live on the AA system. A few other banks are also live on the Account Aggregator system including IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, Federal Bank, AU Small Bank Finance Bank, and Karun Vysya Bank.

The State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Canara Bank are the five public sector banks that are looking to join the AA system
