The Punjab government has announced the transfer and new postings of three IAS officers. The decision, aimed at enhancing governance efficiency, was conveyed through an official notification.
As per the notification:
- IAS Manvesh Singh Sindhu (2004 batch), currently serving as the Administrative Secretary in the Labour Department, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities as the Secretary of Revenue and Rehabilitation.
- IAS Sonali Giri (2009 batch), presently the Managing Director (MD) of Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (PUNSUP) and Director of Civil Aviation, has also been assigned the additional charge as the Secretary of Revenue and Rehabilitation.
- IAS Rahul Chaba (2017 batch), who was serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Hoshiarpur, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion. Additionally, he will take over as Managing Director of Punjab INFOTECH, thereby relieving IAS Mohinder Pal of the additional charge.
