HFCL Ltd has announced the successful acquisition of a substantial INR 1,127 crore order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for a comprehensive transformation of the Optical Transport Network (OTN) infrastructure throughout BSNL’s extensive nationwide network.
The strategic move by HFCL is geared towards meeting the escalating demands of enterprise services, as well as enhancing the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and broadband services provided by BSNL. Additionally, the network upgrade is designed to position BSNL strategically for future endeavors, ensuring a seamless transition to 4G services and preparing the groundwork for the anticipated arrival of 5G services in the coming years.
