The Odisha government has initiated a comprehensive reshuffle of district collectors, transferring 14 IAS officers to new postings across various districts. The decision, communicated through a notification from the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, aims to invigorate governance and streamline administrative functions across the state.
Among the notable appointments, IAS Ashish Thackeray has been designated as the new Collector of Mayurbhanj, while IAS Vineet Bhardwaj assumes the role of Collector for Cuttack district, a pivotal administrative hub in Odisha.
Furthermore, IAS Ranjan Kumar Das has been entrusted with the role of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) for both the Central and Southern Divisions, underscoring the state government’s emphasis on efficient revenue management and divisional coordination.
In other key assignments, IAS officers such as Samarth Verma, Vishal Singh, Abdaal Akhtar, Chanchal Rana, Anya Das, Aditya Goyal, Shraddha Dev Singh, Kirti Bhushan, Shubhankar Mahapatra, Manoj Satyavan Mahajan, and Gaurav Shivaji Ishwar have been appointed to crucial district officer positions in Kendujhar, Angul, Khordha, Sonpur, Bargarh, Nayagarh, Koraput, Jaspur, Raigarh, and Balangir respectively.
The appointments are anticipated to infuse fresh perspectives and expertise into district administrations, thereby facilitating the implementation of welfare schemes and the resolution of public grievances with increased efficiency.
