Sushil Sharma has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN Limited, formerly known as Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam. The decision comes after a thorough selection process, with Sharma emerging as the top choice out of nine highly qualified candidates, recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
Sharma brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with over 30 years of dedicated service in the industry. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur, he embarked on his journey in the sector in 1990 with the H.P. State Technical Education Service. His tenure with SJVN began in January 1994 when he joined as an Assistant Engineer.
