Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has announced a major administrative reshuffle. Late Monday night, 20 officers each of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS) have been transferred effective 4th October.
The personnel department has issued a directive stating that all district collectors and district magistrate officers will be immediately relieved from their current positions after the completion of the Voter Revision Program on October 4, 2023. Following this, they are expected to assume their new roles.
The District Magistrates of five districts and Superintendents of Police of six districts have been transferred. Additionally, three IAS officers have been assigned additional responsibilities. Moreover, two Deputy Inspector General of Police level officers have been transferred. As per the personnel department’s order, there have been changes in the District Magistrates of Kekdi, Tonk, Chittaurgarh, Jhunjhunu, and Khairthal.
Vasudev Malawat has once again assumed the position of Municipal Corporation Commissioner in Udaipur. Having previously served as the Commissioner in this city, he was later promoted from RAS to IAS while remaining in this role. Currently, he holds the position of Additional Commissioner in the Jaipur Industry Promotion Bureau.
IAS Mayank Manish has been appointed as the CEO in Jaipur State Health Insurance, while his vacant position has been filled by Malawat. Additionally, Sandesh Nayak, the Director of Mines and Geology Department, has been transferred to Rajfed Jaipur. In the meantime, the responsibility for this position has been assigned to Tarachand Meena, the Tribal Commissioner.
Dr. Manju, the Joint Secretary of Energy Department in Jaipur, has been appointed as an Additional Commissioner in the Excise Department in Udaipur. Prior to this appointment, Manju has served as the CEO of the District Council in Udaipur and in the cities of Vallabhnagar, Badgaon, and Udaipur.
Dr. Aarushi Ajay Malik, previously serving as the Government Secretary and Commissioner of the Child Empowerment Department in Jaipur, has now been entrusted with the crucial role of Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur.
Saloni Khemka, the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, has been relocated to Jaipur Industries Promotion Bureau. Currently, EGS Udaipur serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad and also holds the position of Additional District Program Coordinator.
Rishabh Mandal, who currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Zilla Parishad-cum- Additional District Program Coordinator EGS and ex-officio Chief Project Officer (MADA) in Karauli, has recently been appointed as the Commissioner of the Commercial Tax (Tax Evasion) Department in Jaipur.
IAS officer Girdhar has taken on additional responsibilities as the Joint Secretary of the Industries Department in Jaipur. IAS officer Poonam, who holds the position of Administrative Secretary in the Sanskrit Education Department, has been appointed as the additional charge of Administrative Secretary and Commissioner in the Child Welfare Department.
Rashmi Gupta, currently serving as the Director and ex-officio Special Government Secretary in the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department, has been given additional responsibilities in the Women Empowerment Department and the Panchayati Raj Department.
Tarachand Meena, the Commissioner of TAD Udaipur, has been appointed as the Director of the Mines and Geology Department in Udaipur. As per the directives from the Personnel Department, Dr. Aarushi Ajay Malik has been designated as the Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur. In addition, the Transport Department has appointed Dr. Manisha Arora as the Commissioner.
Vishwa Mohan Sharma has been assigned as the District Magistrate of Kekdi, while Gaurav Aggarwal has been transferred to Chittorgarh and Hanuman Mal has been posted to Dhaka to Khairthal.
Bachanesh Kumar Aggarwal has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Jhunjhunu, while Omprakash Bairwa has received the responsibility of District Magistrate of Tonk. Preeti Chandra, previously serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Home Guard) in Jaipur, has now been reassigned as Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Armed Battalion in Jaipur. Rajesh Kumar Kanwat has taken up the position of DCP Crime in the Jaipur Commissionerate.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Omprakash Ditiya, has recently been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Special Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
