In a recent administrative reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfer and appointments of three IAS officers to crucial positions in the state.
Alok Kumar, IAS (1998 Batch) – Principal Secretary for Sports: IAS Alok Kumar, a seasoned bureaucrat from the 1998 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary for Sports. In his previous role, Kumar served as the Special Secretary of Madhyamik Shiksha (Secondary Education) for the state. With his vast experience, he is set to contribute to the development and promotion of sports activities in Uttar Pradesh.
Laxmi V.S., IAS – Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Noida: In this reshuffle, IAS officer Laxmi V.S. has been reassigned as the Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Noida. Formerly serving as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) in Mirzapur, Laxmi V.S. brings her administrative skills to Noida, contributing to the city’s continued growth and development.
Vishal Kumar, IAS (2020 Batch) – Chief Development Officer (CDO) for Mirzapur: IAS officer Vishal Kumar, belonging to the 2020 batch, has been appointed as the new Chief Development Officer (CDO) for Mirzapur. He succeeds IAS Laxmi V.S. in this key position. With his fresh perspective and energy, Kumar is expected to contribute to the developmental initiatives in Mirzapur.
