Anil Malik Assumes Additional Charge as Secretary of Ministry of Minority Affairs

A seasoned bureaucrat Anil Malik, a distinguished member of the Indian Administrative Services has been entrusted with an additional charge. The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has appointed him to take charge as the Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

This significant move comes as a temporary measure, prompted by the absence of Katikithala Srinivas, the incumbent Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Srinivas, a senior IAS officer of the 1989 batch.

Anil Malik, a stalwart of the administrative realm, belongs to the 1991 batch of the Indian Administrative Services. Prior to this assignment, Malik has been serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Women & Child Development. Notably, Malik’s journey in public service includes a stint as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Ministry of Women & Child Development.
