The Arunachal Pradesh government signed MoUs worth ₹6,357 crore with 16 companies across diverse sectors during the two-day Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025, held in New Delhi.
The summit, aimed at unlocking the investment potential of the northeastern state, witnessed agreements spanning agriculture, renewable energy, healthcare, tourism, and information technology, among others. The MoUs were signed between the Department of Planning and Investment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and private investors.
Among the major deals:
- Agri-Biofuel Global Ltd. inked a ₹2,324 crore agreement to establish facilities converting agricultural waste into sustainable aviation and maritime fuel.
- Developer Group India Pvt. Ltd. committed a total of ₹2,385 crore, including ₹1,760 crore for afforestation and carbon credit monetisation, ₹570 crore for Beema Bamboo Plantation for biofuel, and ₹55 crore for trial plantations of Moso Bamboo.
- Inlamobi Pvt. Ltd. pledged ₹1,000 crore to set up the European Blue Valley Fragrances & Flavours Ayush Cluster, aimed at promoting Ayurvedic wellness.
- Medhavi Group signed a ₹178 crore MoU to establish a Skill, Innovation and Tribal Entrepreneurship University at Ziro, expected to generate over 430 direct employment opportunities.
Additional agreements were signed for projects focused on bamboo processing, herbal and turmeric-based products, renewable energy development, and the promotion of spiritual and heritage tourism.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, who also oversees the planning and investment portfolio, described the summit as a turning point for the state’s development trajectory.
