Vivek Kumar Dewangan, IAS, has been appointed as Secretary of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC). In his new role, he will oversee the Commission’s administrative and organisational functions.
The appointment brings an experienced civil servant into a key leadership position at the NCSC. As Secretary, Dewangan will support the Commission in carrying out its mandate and strengthening its institutional functioning.
