Ashwini Bhide Appointed as Principal Secretary to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis

Ashwini Bhide, a 1995-batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. She succeeds Brijesh Singh, a 1996-batch IPS officer, in the pivotal role.

Bhide, who previously served as the Managing Director of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), has played a key role in the execution of the Mumbai Metro Project, one of the largest urban infrastructure initiatives in the city’s history.
