Assam Government Transfers 3 IAS Officers

The Assam government has transferred three IAS officers in a recently held reshuffling.

IAS Dr M S Laxmi Priya (2014 batch from Northeast cadre) was serving as MD in the National Health Mission. She has been transferred and given additional charge as Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department.

IAS Ajay Tiwari (1993 batch) has also been given additional charge and will serve as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Mines & Minerals Department. He is currently designated as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Home & Political Department.

IAS Dr Lakshmanan S (2011 batch) is currently positioned as Secretary in the Department of Industries Commerce & Public Enterprises, and Mines & Minerals Departments. He is also the CM’s Secretariat with Additional Charge of MD of the Guwahati Smart City Limited.

He has been appointed as MD of the National Health Mission with additional charge and relieved from the post of Secretary, Mines & Minerals Department.
