Bank of India made an investment of Rs 109 crore in NARCL

Bank of India on Monday has announced that it has invested around Rs 109 crore  in National Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd. With this investment, BoI’s stake in NARCL will increase to 9 percent as on March 21, 2022.

Bank of India has said in a regulatory filing, “We hereby inform that on March 21, 2022, the bank has invested Rs 108.81 crore in National Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (NARCL), under preferential share issue.”

National Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd is an asset reconstrc=uction company supported by the government. The share price of Bank of India closed at Rs 47.50 apiece on an Indian stock exchange BSE, down by 1.14 percent from the previous close.
