Benjamin Ambrose Appointed as Chief Information Security Officer of NPCI

Benjamin Ambrose has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). He carries an extensive background in information and cyber security spanning over 20 years.

Prior to joining NPCI, Ambrose served as a Senior Security Consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Singapore, where he honed his expertise in cloud security. His professional journey also includes pivotal roles at Wipro and Citi, where he contributed to various aspects of information security, audit management, technology compliance, and governance.

Ambrose’s proficiency extends to securing digitisation initiatives, a crucial aspect in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bharathiar University, Ambrose stands as a testament to NPCI’s commitment to robust information security practices.
