Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the appointment of Lt. General Vishwambhar Singh (Retd.) as a Non-Official Director (Independent Director) on its Board.
The appointment has been made pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, dated April 22, 2025. Following this, BEL formalized the appointment through a circular resolution passed on April 23, 2025. The appointment is effective from the same date.
The Company affirms that Lt. General Singh has no relationship with any existing members of the Board of Directors and is not debarred from holding the position of Director under any SEBI order or statutory authority.
