Bihar Government Reshuffles IAS Officers

In a recent administrative reshuffle, Bihar government has transferred several senior IAS officers.

As per the official notification, IAS Mihir Kumar Singh (1993 batch) has been appointed the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Industry Department.

Singh has been relieved from his post as the ACS of the Road Construction Department. In addition to the industry department, he has also been entrusted with the additional charge of the Transport Department.

IAS Lokesh Kumar Singh (2003 batch), presently the Secretary of the Rural Development Department, has been given the additional charge as Secretary of the Health Department.

IAS B. Kartikeya Dhanji (2008 batch), previously serving as Secretary of the Road Construction Department, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary of the Sugarcane Industry Department. Additionally, he will also hold the additional charge as Inquiry Commissioner in the General Administration Department.

IAS Chandrashekhar Singh (2010 batch), Divisional Commissioner of Patna, has been entrusted with additional charge as Secretary of the Disaster Management Department.

IAS Sandeep Kumar R. Pudkalkatti, previously serving as Secretary of the Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as the Secretary of the Road Construction Department.
