SBI General Insurance has appointed Chandan Kumar as Vice President – Lead Motor Underwriting, marking a key leadership addition to strengthen the company’s motor insurance portfolio.
Kumar brings extensive experience in underwriting, risk assessment, and product strategy across the general insurance sector. In his new role, he will oversee the end-to-end underwriting function for the motor vertical, drive portfolio quality, and support the company’s growth plans in one of India’s largest insurance segments.
His appointment aligns with SBI General Insurance’s ongoing efforts to enhance technical excellence, refine underwriting practices, and expand its presence in retail and commercial motor lines.
