Chhattisgarh Government Announces Transfer of Three IAS Officers

The Chhattisgarh government has announced the transfer and appointment of three IAS officers to new positions within the state administration.

IAS officer Abhijeet Singh has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Home and Jail Department in the Ministry. Prior to this new role, Singh was serving as the Collector of Kanker, where he played a pivotal role in local governance and administration.

Replacing Singh as the Collector of Kanker is IAS officer Nikesh Kshirsagae, a member of the 2011 IAS batch. Kshirsagae, who previously held the position of Additional Chief Electoral Officer and also served as the Collector of Jashpur and Mahasamund districts.

IAS officer Vasu Jain, from the 2021 batch, has been appointed as the Under Secretary in the Planning and Statistics Department in the Ministry.
