Former IAS officer Subhash Chandra Lal Das has been appointed Chairperson of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). In his new role, Das will lead the Commission and oversee its regulatory and administrative responsibilities in the electricity sector.
The appointment brings an experienced former civil servant to the leadership of DERC. As Chairperson, Das will oversee the Commission’s regulatory functions and contribute to matters related to the governance and development of Delhi’s electricity sector.
