New Delhi: The Indian government is set to expand the reach of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) CBSE-International or CBSE-i curriculum to a wider audience across the globe.
This acclaimed curriculum has already been implemented in 240 schools across 26 countries since its introduction in 2010. By fostering collaborations with international school boards, the government aims to elevate the standards of school education in India and provide students with access to global possibilities.
Partnerships with developed nations in particular will enhance educational opportunities for Indian students. The National Education Policy (NEP) serves as a comprehensive blueprint for educational transformation in India, and other emerging economies can adopt it with minor adjustments.
India’s commitment to global educational cooperation is reflected by its plans to expand CBSE’s international board and promote the NEP.
By leveraging the success of CBSE-International and the visionary NEP, India is taking a forward-looking approach to shape the future of education and provide quality education to students worldwide.
