The Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, has entrusted Gowri Sankara Rao Naramsetti, Director (Finance) and CFO of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), with the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of the company.
Rao assumed the new role on January 1, 2025, for an initial period of three months or until a regular incumbent is appointed, or further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
With extensive experience in financial management and corporate governance, Rao is expected to provide steady leadership during this transitional period. His dual responsibilities as Director (Finance) and CMD will enable him to leverage his expertise in aligning strategic priorities with operational efficiency at MIDHANI, a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence.
