Haryana Administration Appoints Ankur Gupta as Additional Chief Secretary

The Haryana state administration has entrusted seasoned bureaucrat Ankur Gupta with additional responsibilities as the Additional Chief Secretary (Appointments) in the Department of Personnel. Gupta, a distinguished member of the Indian Administrative Service belonging to the 1990 batch of the Haryana cadre, currently holds the position of Additional Chief Secretary in the Departments of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Animal Husbandry & Dairying.

Prior to his current role, Gupta has helmed critical portfolios within the state apparatus. He notably served as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Public Works (Building & Roads) and Architecture Department, where his leadership played a pivotal role in infrastructure development initiatives. Additionally, his tenure as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department demonstrated a steadfast commitment to ensuring welfare programs reach the grassroots level effectively.
