IAS Harmit Singh Pahuja has been re-designated as Director in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Currently serving as the Deputy Secretary in the same department, Pahuja, a 2010 batch Manipur cadre officer, received official approval for his redesignation from the competent authority.
The order, issued by the DoPT on Friday, January 12, 2024, outlines that Harmit Singh Pahuja’s tenure as Director will be effective until November 17, 2024. This appointment, governed by the Central Staff Scheme, spans a total duration of five years.
