In a series of significant bureaucratic appointments, seasoned IAS officers are taking on pivotal roles, reshaping the landscape of governance across various sectors.
Dnyaneshwar Bhalchandra Patil, a distinguished IAS officer from the 2003 Madhya Pradesh cadre, has assumed office as the Development Commissioner at the Santa Cruz Exclusive Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ), Special Economic Zone, Mumbai. He succeeds Shyam Jagannathan, a 1997 batch IAS officer, in this pivotal role under the Department of Commerce.
Vibhu Nayar, an esteemed IAS officer from the 1990 Tamil Nadu cadre, has been assigned dual responsibilities in key ministries. Serving as the Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Nayar has been entrusted with an additional charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Prerna Puri, an accomplished IAS officer from the 2006 AGMUT cadre, has been appointed to a pivotal role within the Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JakeGA).
