The Government of India has unveiled the empanelment of several distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers for the crucial position of Joint Secretary or its equivalent. The move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to bring in experienced and capable officers to contribute to key roles in governance.
The selected officers for the coveted roles are as follows:
IAS Shriman Shukla (Madhya Pradesh, 2007), currently serving as the OSD-cum-Commissioner, Narmadapuram Division, Narmadapuram, has been appointed as Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India. IAS Bachanesh Kumar Agrawal (Rajasthan, 2014), previously serving as the Collector and District Magistrate of Jhunjhunu, has been appointed Joint Secretary to Government, P.H.E.D. And Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
IAS Swatantra Kumar Singh (Madhya Pradesh, 2007), presently posted as the OSD-Cum-Director (Rehab), NVDA, Bhopal, & Member Secretary, State Planning Commission, Bhopal (Additional Charge), has been appointed as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
IAS Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav (Odisha, 2007) has been posted as Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
IAS Anindita Mitra IAS (Punjab, 2007), previously posted as the Commissioner of Chandigarh Admin, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, will now serve as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India. IAS Aparna Gupta (Rajasthan, 2018), previously posted as the Chief Executive Officer of Udaipur Smart City Limited, Udaipur, has been appointed Joint Secretary To Government, Home Department, Jaipur.
IAS Mohammad Tayyab (Punjab, 2007) will now serve as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India. IAS Balwant Singh (Odisha, 2007), presently posted as the MD of Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar, has been posted as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
IAS Adarsh Singh (Uttar Pradesh, 2007) has been appointed Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India. IAS Chaitra V (Uttar Pradesh, 2007), currently serving as the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Meerut, has been posted as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
IAS Prabhu Narain Singh (Uttar Pradesh, 2007), currently serving as the Secretary to the Government of U.P., Revenue Department, Lucknow, will now be serving as the Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
