IAS Officers RP Marak and Hema Nayak Assume New Roles: Meghalaya

Within the administrative framework of Meghalaya, two esteemed IAS officers, RP Marak and Hema Nayak, have taken on significant new roles, marking a shift in responsibilities.

RP Marak, an officer from the 2011 batch, has been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya in the Mining & Geology Department. Marak has been serving as the Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills District in Ampati.

Hema Nayak, an IAS officer from the 2020 batch, has been appointed as new Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills District, replacing Marak. Nayak has been serving as the Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya in the Police Department.
