In a recent move impacting key administrative positions across Haryana, the state government has undertaken a significant reshuffle of IAS officers. The realignment sees several officers taking up new roles, affecting deputy commissioner positions in various districts.
IAS Uttam Singh (2015 batch), who previously served as the DC of Hisar, has now been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Karnal. He succeeds IAS officer Anish Yadav (2014 batch), who has been reassigned with the new role.
IAS Anish Yadav, in turn, assumes the role of Managing Director for both the Haryana Medical Services Corporation and the Haryana State Federation of Co-operative Sugar Mills. This move underscores the government’s focus on these vital sectors.
IAS officer Pradeep Dahiya (2013 batch), formerly the Commissioner of the Hisar Municipal Corporation, has now been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Hisar.
In another key appointment, IAS officer Ram Kumar Singh (2012 batch) has been posted as the Special Secretary in the revenue department, poised to assume the role of DC of Sirsa. He succeeds IAS officer Parth Gupta, who moves to a new assignment. On the other hand, IAS Parth Gupta (2013 batch) transitions to the role of additional Chief Executive Officer of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, focusing on the developmental needs of the region.
IAS officer Rahul Narwal (2016 batch), who previously served as the Commissioner at the Panipat Municipal Corporation, has been transferred to Fatehabad. He takes over as the Deputy Commissioner, succeeding IAS officer Ajay Tomar.
IAS Ajay Tomar (2012 batch) now assumes the role of Director of the Information Technology Department, bringing his expertise to drive technological advancements in the state.
