IAS Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh Gets Additional Charge as Director at Export Inspection Council

Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh, a 2008-batch Karnataka-cadre IAS officer and Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, has been given additional charge as Director (Inspection & Quality Control) at the Export Inspection Council (EIC).

Ghosh will continue in his existing role as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce while taking on the additional responsibility at EIC. His new assignment covers the council’s inspection and quality control functions.
