Ahmedabad: The final placement process for the MBA-PGPX program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has been successfully concluded. This year, 128 students from the PGPX class, 2023 have accepted job offers.
PGPX students from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad have been chosen for various leadership positions as well as middle and senior management roles, both within India and internationally.
Some positions for which students were recruited included vice president, director, candidates for leadership programs, head of programs, head of products, assistant vice president, general manager, and others.
In addition to large corporations filling senior leadership and middle management roles, both unicorns and soon-to-be-unicorns start-ups also hired a significant number of students this year from IIM Ahmedabad.
Interestingly, consulting firms emerged as the top recruiters this year, hiring 24% of the students. Following closely, the Information Technology Services, BFSI, and Automotive sectors recruited 19%, 10%, and 7% of the students, respectively.
