The government of Jharkhand has announced the transfer and posting of 19 IAS officers to various key positions across the state. The reshuffle aims to streamline governance and enhance efficiency in the delivery of public services.
Among the notable appointments, IAS Manjunath Bhajantri (2011 batch) has been appointed as the Administrator of the Swarnarakha Project, while IAS Ananya Mittal (2015 batch) will take on the role of Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jamshedpur.
Furthermore, IAS Ram Niwas Yadav (2015 batch) has been entrusted with the dual responsibility of serving as DC of Sahebganj and Director of Higher Education. Similarly, IAS Himanshu Mohan (2016 batch) assumes the position of Director of Education.
In a crucial administrative move, IAS Ajay Kumar Singh (1989 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Cabinet, underscoring his vast experience and expertise in governance matters.
Other key appointments include IAS Garima Singh (2016 batch) as Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Latehar, and IAS Manish Ranjan (2002 batch) as Managing Director of MD Building Construction Corporation Limited and Secretary of the Building Construction Department.
Additionally, IAS Arvind Rajkamal (2018 batch) has been given additional responsibilities, including the oversight of the Greater Ranchi Development Agency and serving as Principal Secretary of the Departments of Prohibition and Urban Development.
Moreover, IAS Uma Shankar Singh (2009 batch) has been tasked with overseeing the Sidho Kanho Agriculture and Forest Produce State Cooperative Unions in addition to continuing as Secretary of School Education.
The reshuffle also includes appointments such as IAS Pawan Kumar (2014 batch) as Project Director of the Jharkhand AIDS Control Society and IAS Sanjeev Kumar Besra (2012 batch) as Mission Director of the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society.
Furthermore, IAS Akanksha Ranjan is designated as new MD of Jharkhand Exploration and Mining, and MD of JHARCRAFT with an additional charge of MD of the Mati Kala Board. While, IAS Jiya Das is posted as MD of Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (JSMDC) with an additional charge as Chief Minister of the Small and Cottage Enterprises Development Board.
IAS Satyendra Kumar (2010 batch) has been posted as MD, Jharkhand State Food Corporation, Ranchi and IAS Vandana Dadel (1996 batch) is appointed Principal Secretary of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Women Child Development & Social Security Department. IAS Srikant Yashwant (2021 batch) is now posted as SDO, Giridih.
IAS Hemant Sati (2017 batch) and IAS Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao (2015 batch) will serve as Deputy Magistrates & Deputy Commissioners of Sahibganj and Chaibasa, respectively.
IAS Madhavi Mishra (2015 batch) currently serving as MD of Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO), received additional charge of Executive Director, Jharkhand State Aarogya Society (JSAS), Ranchi and MD, Jharkhand Medical & Health Infrastructure Development Development & Procurement Corporation Limited, Ranchi.
