In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Karnataka government has transferred three Indian Administrative Service officers across key positions.
IAS officer Bhoobalan T of the 2015 batch has been appointed as Director of the Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) under the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (e-Governance). He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for E-Governance in Bengaluru.
Aparna Ramesh, a 2021 batch IAS officer and the former Director of EDCS, has been posted as Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes (Service Analysis Wing), Bengaluru.
Kanishk Sharma, also of the 2021 batch and previously Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes in the Service Analysis Wing, has now been appointed as the Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), Bengaluru. He replaces Sri Chandrashekhar Nayaka, who has been relieved of his post following his deputation to the Centre.
