Kaustubh Dhavse Appointed Chief Advisor (Investments & Strategy) to Maharashtra CM

The Maharashtra government has appointed Kaustubh Dhavse as the Chief Advisor (Investments & Strategy) to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, according to an official announcement by the General Administration Department.

Dhavse previously served as Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister and has long been associated with Fadnavis, playing instrumental roles in major infrastructure and investment projects during Fadnavis’ earlier tenure as CM from 2014 to 2019. He continued to serve as part of the team during Fadnavis’ tenure as Deputy Chief Minister in the Eknath Shinde-led government from 2022 to 2024.

An electronics engineer from Mumbai University, Dhavse holds an MBA from the SP Jain Institute of Management Studies and a degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Before joining the public sector, he had a successful corporate career with stints at Solectron Inc., HP Inc., and Frost and Sullivan.
