In the 4th edition of the India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC) 2022, Ludhiana city has been qualified for stage 2 of the ISAC 2022.
Pradeep Kumar Sabharwal, MC Commissioner and CEO of Ludhiana Smart City Limited (LSCL) said Ludhiana had qualified for stage two of the India Smart Cities Awards Contest 2022. He also informed that in the list, Ludhiana ranks 41 out of the top 75 cities in the country.
In the 4th edition of the India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC) 2022, 75 cities from across the country have qualified for stage II to win the profound award. The cities which had qualified for stage 1 of the ISAC 2022 had to submit the award proposals across six award categories, including project awards, innovation awards, city awards, state/UT awards, leadership awards, and partners awards, latest by June 30.
Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary, and Mission Director, Smart Cities Mission has written to the Chief Executive Officers concerned, stating their city has demonstrated a commendable performance in championing the cause of the Smart Cities Mission over the past year and has featured among the top 75 ranked cities as per the MIS performance.
