the Maharashtra government on Wednesday announced the transfer of eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across key locations in the state, including major urban centres such as Pune, Mumbai, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
Naval Kishor Ram, a 2008-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, succeeding Rajendra Bhosale in the crucial civic role.
Among other prominent changes, Sheetal Teli-Ugale from the 2009 batch will now serve as Commissioner for Sports and Youth Services in Pune. J S Papalkar, a 2010-batch officer who was serving as Dhule Collector, has been promoted to Divisional Commissioner of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division.
C K Dange, also from the 2010 batch, has been posted as Joint Secretary to the Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department at Mantralaya, the state administrative headquarters.
Further transfers include Bhagyashree Vispute (2017 batch), who has been moved from CIDCO at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar to take charge as the new Collector of Dhule. Anand Bhandari, also from the 2017 batch, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar.
In Amravati, 2018-batch officer Ashish Yerekar will take over as District Collector, replacing Katiyar.
