New Delhi: Major Gen Ignatius Delos Flora assumed the position of Additional Director General of Military Nursing Service (MNS) on September 1, 2023. The General Officer is an alumnus of the School of Nursing, Army Hospital Delhi Cantt, which is now known as College of Nursing, Army Hospital (R&R).
She joined the MNS in 1985 and completed her Midwifery training at Command Hospital Air Force Bangalore in 1986. Continuing her education, she obtained her PCBSc Nursing degree from College of Nursing AFMC Pune in 1995.
Throughout her remarkable 38-year career, the General Officer has held significant positions in various Armed Forces Medical Services hospitals, including JDMNS (Trg & HS) Eastern Command, DPM INHS Asvini, Principal Matron AICTS Pune, and Brig MNS at HQ Northern Command.
